Our technology consists of two main products: WorkMate, our frontline assistant, and ForeSight, our animal health insights service. Both are powered by a unique AI system, integrating our ingenum Language Model (iLM) and our ingenum Graph Network (iGN).
WorkMate
WorkMate is an LLM-powered, cloud-based application with web and native mobile front-ends. The vet interface is optimised for use on mobile in the field, while the practice management interface is optimised for desktop use, reflecting the different environments that our users work in. WorkMate’s unique selling point is its integration with our AI systems, allowing vets to create comprehensive clinical notes and invoices in a flash, as well as integrating knowledge from the peer-reviewed literature and live emerging trends.
WorkMate uses a standard database for operational needs, but also produces high-performance data streams to serve other applications in the ingenum landscape. These data streams are consumed by the Foresight system, which uses them for both live inference and for dataset construction.
ForeSight
ForeSight is also a cloud-based application with two distinct modes of use.
The first mode is as a modular web application, which serves a variety of data-rich embedded applications and visualisations. These applications allow both a classical dashboard-type experience, as well as a modern conversational experience. The unique conversational interface is only enabled by the connection between our iLM and iGN systems. This exciting and adaptable interaction allows users to interrogate of the data with more freedom and in a guided manner. It presents relevant patterns automatically for dynamic conversational querying and interaction making it a highly powerful tool.
The second mode is as a real-time data stream, accessible via both standard integrations into popular data ingestion tools, as well as through an integration framework for more bespoke enterprise needs. This functionality is particularly relevant to industry players who may need to react rapidly to a changing animal health environment, but also to other users such as traders, for whom real-time data is essential.
Interconnected AI Systems
Ingenum harnesses real-time clinical livestock data through its WorkMate platform, creating a graph dataset with the iLM. The iGN encodes these data, capturing intricate clinical relationships. Our methodology involves contrastive pretraining to align clinical observations with textual descriptions, enhancing model accuracy. This enables zero-shot retrieval, facilitating precise information retrieval and intervention suggestions.
Fine-tuning for specific downstream tasks leverages pretraining insights, with continuous refinement based on expert feedback ensuring our technology's relevance and effectiveness in veterinary epidemiology, offering advanced diagnostic and treatment prediction capabilities.
ForeSight uses both the iLM and iGN systems to discover patterns in the clinical observation data, and enables users to investigate these patterns interactively.
